America’s Team on Thanksgiving Day – it’s a tradition like no other. Dallas is coming off a pair of dominant victories over the Panthers and Giants, two of the worst teams in the NFL, outscoring their opponents by a combined 52 points.
Meanwhile, Washington fell to that same Giants team 31-19 on Sunday, falling to three games under .500. Before we check the odds on this NFC East rivalry game and make our bets, here’s where you can find the best Super Bowl betting tips and the top betting sites for NFL football in 2023.

Dallas looking dominant
Daron Bland snagged his fourth pick-six of the year in a 33-10 victory over the Panthers on Sunday. Micah Parsons also had 2.5 sacks and 10 pressures on Bryce Young in the blowout win. Dak Prescott passed for 189 yards and 2 TDs while Tony Pollard scored for the first time since the season opener.
Dallas has won four of five games, with a hard-fought 28-23 loss to the Eagles in week 10 being their only blemish. Over the past month, they’ve blown out the Rams, Giants and Panthers by a combined 75 points.

Commanders implode
Sam Howell threw three interceptions and his teammates fumbled the ball away three times in a 31-19 defeat to the Giants in week 11. At 4-7 this year and 8 games under .500 through five seasons, it’s safe to say Ron Rivera won’t be back for a fifth season with Washington.
The Commanders sacked Tommy DeVito nine times on Sunday. However, they allowed the rookie signal caller to pass for 246 yards with three TDs and no interceptions.
Dallas vs Washington
Dallas is an 11-point home favorite on Thanksgiving Day with the over/under set at 48 points. The Cowboys are the second-highest scoring team in football after the Dolphins, averaging over 30 points per week.
Washington’s defense is also allowing the third-most passing yards per week (258.5) and the most points per game (27.7) in the NFL.
Incredible note from our research department:

Dak and CeeDee to feast?
CeeDee Lamb was relatively quiet on Sunday, making six receptions for 38 yards and a TD. Prior to the contest, the 24-year-old receiver had been on an all-time heater.
Over a four-game span against the Chargers, Rams, Eagles and Giants, Lamb made 51 receptions and 617 yards (most in the NFL) with three touchdowns.
Best Bet
The Commanders defeated Dallas 26-6 in a meaningless week 18 game last year, but were destroyed 25-10 in Texas in the previous meeting.
While we love the Cowboys to triumph on Thanksgiving Day, we think there’s backdoor cover potential for Washington (+11). After all, Sam Howell currently leads the league with 3,038 passing yards.
