2024 Ambetter Health 400 betting picks
Denny Hamlin
The driver of the No. 11 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, Denny Hamlin, is coming off a 19th place finish at the Daytona 500. Hamlin finished sixth at the 2023 Ambetter Health 400 and 14th at the 2023 Quaker State 400. He has one win at Atlanta, taking the checkered flag in 2012. Hamlin has struggled in Atlanta in the recent past. In 2022 he placed 29th and 25th, while last year he finished sixth and 14th on the track. Despite his recent struggle to finish inside the top ten, Hamlin has six top-five career finishes on the track, most recently finishing fourth in 2021.
Joey Logano
Joey Logano had a great day on this course last year. The driver of the No. 22 Ford for Team Penske, Logano, started on the pole for the 2023 Ambetter Health 400 and proceeded to win Stage One, take second in Stage Two, and win the race after leading 140 laps of the 260-lap race. Logano returned in July to finish in 17th place after qualifying for the race in fourth. Logano is coming off a 32nd-place finish at the Daytona 500.
Outside of his win in 2023, Logano has not finished inside the top five in Atlanta since 2015. He has four other top-10 finishes on the track since then.
William Byron
The winner of the 2024 Daytona 500, William Byron, is among the betting favorites to capture the checkered flag at the 2024 Ambetter Health 400. The driver of the No. 24 Chevy for Hendrick Motorsports has nine career starts in Atlanta, with victories in 2023 and 2022. Outside of his wins, he has one other top-10 finish, placing eighth in 2021.
Ryan Blaney
Ryan Blaney has not won at Atlanta since 2021, but the driver of the No. 12 Ford for Team Penske has performed well at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. In 11 career starts on the track, Blaney has finished in the top 10 six times. In his past seven starts in Atlanta, he has placed outside the top five three times.
Blaney and other Ford drivers had strong showings in Daytona, so he cannot be overlooked as a potential winner in Atlanta.
Best bets for the 2024 Ambetter Health 400
While there is no clear betting favorite to win the 2024 Ambetter Health 400, one driver who has had consistently strong showings at the Atlanta Motor Speedway is Ryan Blaney. Ryan Blaney is the betting pick to win the 2024 Ambetter Health 400 because of how well he has performed on this track and how the Ford drivers did at Daytona.
