Isiah Pacheco is also poised to be a big factor in any Chiefs victory after scoring touchdowns in his last four playoff games.

CMC leads the way
Christian McCaffrey (-275) is the heavy favorite to have the most rushing yards in Super Bowl 58. The 27-year-old paced the NFL with 1,459 yards on the ground in 2023, and recorded 90+ yards and two touchdowns in each playoff win. Kansas City is 22nd in defensive success rate against the run. As long as Kyle Shananan doesn’t make the same mistake as Baltimore’s Todd Monken, CMC will eat on Sunday.
Isiah Pacheco (+160) had 76 yards and a score in the Chiefs’ Super Bowl 57 victory. The sophomore back is averaging 84.7 yards this postseason with a TD in all three games. However, San Francisco ranked No. 5 in rushing yards allowed per game this season.

Attacking on the ground?
Oddsmakers have set the over/under at 233.5 total rushing yards for both teams, with the 49ers at 126.5 and the Chiefs at 102.5. Betting these numbers largely depends on how you believe the game will unfold.
If KC jumps out to an early lead and San Francisco falls behind for the third-straight time this postseason, CMC may not see as many rushing attempts as usual. In this scenario, Pacheco would also see extra carries with Andy Reid trying to bleed the clock throughout the second half.

Busting off big gains
You can also wager on the longest rushing attempt for a number of players. Brock Purdy’s over/under is set at 8.5 yards. Mr. Irrelevant scrambled for 48 yards on five carries in the Niners’ NFC Championship win over Detroit, including a 21- yard third down gain on the game’s most important possession.
Patrick Mahomes’ line is set at 12.5 yards. The two-time Super Bowl MVP made a 26-yard gain with his legs in last year’s triumph over the Eagles. We’ll take the OVER for Mahomes and UNDER for Purdy.
One of the worst beats EVER went down four years ago today 🚨
The rushing prop for Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LIV was 29.5…
Mahomes had 44 rush yds before kneeling 3 times for -15 rush yds 🤢

Best Bets
Christian McCaffrey finished third in the NFL with nine 20+ yard gains this season. He added a 25-yard gain in the playoff win over the Lions and a 39-yard scamper against the Packers. We’ll take OVER 18.5 yards (-115) for CMC.
