Spread | Money Line | Total Points | |

Rattler’s debut
Spencer Rattler completed 22 of 40 passes for 243 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in his Week 6 rookie debut. The Saints’ fifth-round pick fell apart in the second half of the 51-27 defeat to the NFC rival Buccaneers, completing less than half of his passes and throwing both of his picks.
Rattler will be in tough against Vance Joseph defense. Denver is holding opponents to the fourth-fewest points (16.0) and fifth-fewest passing yards (170.2) in the NFL. However, cornerback Patrick Surtain II is likely to miss the game after suffering a concussion against the Chargers in Week 6.

Denver falls to .500
Denver had won three straight contests against the Buccaneers, Jets and Raiders before falling to the divisional rival Chargers 23-16 on Sunday. Bo Nix passed for 216 yards with two TDs and an interception with an additional 61 yards on the ground. But, most of that came in the fourth quarter.
Through three quarters, the Broncos’ No. 12 overall pick was 4 for 14 for 27 pass yards, one interception and a 9.8 passer rating.
New Orleans vs Denver
Denver is a 1.5-point road favorite on Thursday night and the 37-point over/under is the lowest total on the Week 7 slate. While the Broncos have one of the strongest defenses in the league, the Saints are permitting the fourth-most passing yards (262.2) and tenth-most points (24.5) per game. Dennis Allen’s unit allowed Tampa Bay to rack up 51 points and 594 yards of total offense in Sunday’s loss.
New Orleans will also be without both its starting wideouts. Chris Olave suffered a concussion in Week 6 and Rashid Shaheed is out with a knee injury. After a strong start to the campaign, Alvin Kamara has managed only 66 yards on 24 carries over the past two weeks.
Oregon reaches No. 2 in the AP poll, and Bo Nix throws a TD to Troy Franklin in a showdown vs. Justin Herbert.

Best Bet
Beat up with injuries and losers of four consecutive games, expect the Saints to continue their descent on Thursday night. We like the Denver Broncos to cover -1.5 points with ease in Sean Payton’s return to the Bayou.
