Buffalo on a roll
Josh Allen passed for 323 yards and 2 TDs in a 34-10 massacre of Tennessee. In addition to finding Amari Cooper for a score, Allen connected with rookie Keon Coleman four times for 125 yards. Every member of the Bills backfield, James Cook, Ray Davis and Ty Johnson, also found the endzone.
After losses to the Ravens and Texans, Buffalo has now picked up wins over the Jets and Titans to move to 4-2. However, it’s fair to wonder how good Sean McDermott’s squad really is. The teams they defeated have a combined 7-19 record (.269 winning percentage) this season.

Seattle’s defense gets healthy
With their defense decimated by injuries, the Seahawks allowed 35 points per game in three-straight losses leading into Week 7. However, they forced three turnovers and scored a defensive touchdown in Sunday’s 34-14 destruction of the Falcons.
Geno Smith passed for 207 yards and 2 TDs in the victory and Kenneth Walker III added 69 yards on the ground with a score. Unfortunately, DK Metcalf was carted off with a knee injury after putting up 99 yards and TD. While the injury isn’t expected to be “too bad”, the 26-year-old likely won’t suit up versus the Bills.
Seattle vs Buffalo
Seattle is a 3-point home underdog on Sunday and the over/under is set at 48-points. Both teams’ scoring offenses rank inside the top-ten, with the Bills averaging 28.4 points per game (5th) versus the Seahawks’ 25.7 PPG (T-8th). With new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb calling the shots, Seattle ranks No. 1 in the NFL with 270.9 passing yards per week.
With rookie defensive tackle Byron Murphy back in the lineup, Mike Macdonald’s defense should be better equipped to stop the run. But, the Seahawks are the league’s sixth-worst team against the run, allowing 146.1 rushing yards per game.

McDermott’s defense
Buffalo has a top-ten scoring defense, allowing just 19.4 points per game, despite ranking middle of the pack versus both the run and the pass. Greg Rousseau registered a game-high 11 pressures and a half sack against Tennessee and could again be a game-wrecker against Seattle’s suspect offensive line.
Best Bet
If DK Metcalf is somehow able to play, we like the Seahawks to cover. However, assuming they’re without their top wide receiver, Seattle doesn’t have the weapons to beat Buffalo.
We’ll take Josh Allen and the Bills to cover (-3) with the UNDER 48 points.
