Lamar closing in on 3rd MVP?
With two NFL MVPs already under his belt, Lamar Jackson is enjoying his best year in the league. In Sunday’s victory over the Broncos, he passed for 280 yards with three TDs, zero interceptions and a perfect 158.3 passer rating. With newly-acquired Diontae Johnson playing just 16 snaps, Zay Flowers racked up 127 yards and two scores.
Derrick Henry also continued his renaissance with the Ravens, rumbling for 106 yards and two TDs. The 30-year-old went for 92 yards and a score in Baltimore’s 41-38 victory over Cincinnati in Week 5.

Burrow dazzles again
Joe Burrow threw five touchdown passes on Sunday for the second time this season. The first time he accomplished the feat was in Week 5’s home loss to Baltimore. Joe Cool completed 30 of 39 passes for 392 yards, five TDs and one INT. Unfortunately, Lamar Jackson played even better, passing for 348 yards, 4 TDs, no picks and 55 yards on the ground.
Ja’Marr Chase made 10 grabs for 193 yards and 2 TDs against the Ravens, and Tee Higgins came away with nine receptions for 83 yards and two scores of his own. The latter has missed the Bengals past two games with a quad injury.
Baltimore vs Cincinnati
Baltimore is a 6-point home favorite on Thursday night and the over/under is set at a robust 52-points. That total makes perfect sense considering these two teams combined for 79 points just over a month ago. With offensive coordinator Todd Monken in his second year in Maryland, Lamar Jackson is running the NFL’s second-highest-scoring offense (30.3 PPG) while Cincinnati is just outside the top ten (24.4 PPG).
Both clubs have top-ten passing offenses, but the Ravens are much better on the ground. Thanks to King Henry, Baltimore is averaging 200 rushing yards per game (No. 1 in the NFL). Meanwhile, the Bengals have a bottom-five rushing attack (89.8 YPG) while Joe Mixon is thriving in Houston.

Best Bet
Joe Burrow and the Bengals need this game to get back to .500 and re-enter the postseason picture in the AFC. However, they haven’t beaten a playoff team all year. Lamar Jackson is 9-2 all-time versus his AFC North foes. We’ll take the Ravens to win (-290) but Cincinnati should cover (+6) in a game that will surprisingly hit the UNDER (52) after both teams’ offensive explosions in Week 9.
