Jayden Daniels leads the way
One week after completing a buzzer-beating Hail Mary to beat the Bears, Jayden Daniels passed for 209 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 27-22 victory over the Giants on Sunday. The No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft is a -2500 favorite to claim the Offensive Rookie of the Year award. Daniels has thrown for 1,945 yards this season with nine TDs and 2 interceptions while adding 459 yards and 4 scores on the ground.
Daniels has been dynamite all year with deep balls. He went 3-of-3 for 91 yards and a TD on 20+ yard passes against New York in Week 9. Pittsburgh’s defense is vulnerable through the air, allowing 219.8 passing yards per game (No. 21 in the NFL).

Steelers fresh off a bye week
Russell Wilson is 2-0 as the Steelers’ starter. In his Week 8 start versus the Giants, Wilson passed for 278 yards and a TD, connecting with George Pickens four times for 74 yards. Pickens also had two scores overturned by penalty and replay review one week after putting up 111 receiving yards against the Jets.
Najee Harris has also been on a roll, topping 100 rushing in three-consecutive games while scoring 2 TDs. The 26-year-old back will be key against a Washington team allowing 142.3 rushing yards per game (28th in the NFL).
Washington vs Pittsburgh
Washington is a 2.5-point home favorite on Sunday, and the over/under is set at 45.5 points. With Kliff Kingsbury in command, the Commanders have the No. 4 scoring offense in the NFL, averaging 29.2 points per game. However, only the Chargers have been better than the Steelers when it comes to keeping points off the board.
Pittsburgh is permitting only 14.9 PPG while holding opponents to 90.5 rushing yards per week (No. 4 in NFL). Dan Quinn’s defense is much weaker on the ground, but they’re allowing the fifth-fewest passing yards (184) per game. Life may be difficult for Russ in this one.

Best Bet
T.J. Watt and the Steelers defense will provide Daniels with his fiercest competition to date. Coming off a bye, we like the underdog Steelers to squeak out a win (+115) on the road over Washington, with the UNDER 45.5.
