Last week, it was looking as though defending champion Ryan Blaney wasn’t going to be part of the NASCAR Final Four chasing the NASCAR Cup Series title in Sunday’s season finale, the NASCAR Championship Race.
What a difference a week makes. Following his win last week at Martinsville, oddsmakers are now seeing Blaney as the +350 favorite to win this race. However, like any NASCAR race around a fast-paced oval, the betting field is tightly bunched.
Christopher Bell, not part of the final four, is set as the +450 second betting choice. Next in this betting market are the other three final four contenders. Two-time champion Joey Logano is given a betting line of +500. Both William Byron and Tyler Reddick are set at +550.

NASCAR Cup Series Winner Betting
Blaney is set as the +200 favorite to be retaining his NASCAR Cup Series title. To do so, he’ll need to be the top points collector among the final four in Sunday’s NASCAR Championship Race.
Logano is the co-second betting choice at +275 as he seeks his third title. Byron is also given a betting line of +275. Reddick is the longshot in this betting market at odds of +300. Neither Byron nor Reddick have previously won the title.
Top NASCAR Cup Series Prop Bets
Reddick is the only driver among the NASCAR Cup Series final four who will be at the wheel of a Toyota. Reddick was the NASCAR regular season champion.
Both Blaney and Logano drive Fords, while Byron is in a Chevrolet. Yet it’s Toyota that is set as the +150 favorite to be the winning manufacturer in this race in NASCAR Championship Race prop betting.

It’s Ford, though, that is set as the -125 odds-on chalk to be the manufacturer producing the NASCAR Cup Series champion for 2024. With both Blaney and Logano among the final four, Team Penske is being given a -125 betting line to be the winning team in this year’s competition.
NASCAR Championship Race Winner Betting Picks and Predictions
It’s interesting to note that in last year’s NASCAR Championship Race, winner Ross Chastain was not part of the NASCAR Cup Series final four. The highest finisher among the championship contenders was Blaney’s 2nd-place run. That was enough to garner him the title, though.
That makes Bell a very intriguing bet here. He’ll be bitter after a ruling in last week’s race at Martinsville that he committed a safety violation on the last lap of the race dropped him out of the final four. Bell was a top contender to win the NASCAR Cup Series title all season long.
NASCAR Cup Series champion in 2018 and 2022, Logano has that even-numbered year trend working for him. He won this race in 2022.
Reddick has been erratic of late. Reddick was 36th in Las Vegas, won at Homestead and then ran 34th at Martinsville. That win is Reddick’s only top 10 over the past eight races.
Byron was the benefactor of Bell’s penalty. He also joins Blaney as repeaters in the final four. He hasn’t won since taking the checkered flag in three of the first eight races of the season, including the season-opening Daytona 500. However, Byron is right there every race. He’s finished in the top 10 in six consecutive races. Four of those six runs saw him end up in top five. He’s also been in top 10 of this race each of the last two years.
No one likes Phoenix of late more than Blaney, however. He was second here last year and in 2022. He’s never finished worse than sixth in the last five fall races at Phoenix. He used his win at Martinsville last year to propel him to the NASCAR Cup Series title and will be doing so again this year.
