Eckroat took home $1,296,000 of the $7.2 million prize pool. This week, $6.9 million will be up for grabs for the Butterfield Bermuda Championship. The first-place prize for the event is $1.242 million. Last year, Camilo Villegas won this event with a score of -24. Villegas took home $1.17 million for his victory.

The Butterfield Bermuda Championship was established in 2019. No player has won the event more than once. The following are the previous winners: Brendon Todd, Brian Gay, Lucas Herbert, Seamus Power, and Villegas. This year’s prize pool is the largest in the event’s history. The tournament takes place on the Robert Trent Jones-designed Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda. Three previous winners, Villegas, Power, and Todd are in this year’s field.

In addition to the prize money, the winner of this week’s event gets an invite to the 2025 Sentry (Tournament of Champions) as well as The Masters.
