Coming off a surprisingly-close victory over the 3-8 Panthers on Sunday, Kansas City will host an even worse team on Black Friday. Las Vegas is just one of three clubs to have only two wins this season. The Raiders are coming off a 29-19 defeat to Denver in which Gardner Minshew suffered a broken collarbone. That means Desmond Ridder will likely draw the start in Arrowhead against the 10-1 Chiefs.

KC survives scare in Carolina
Patrick Mahomes passed for 269 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 30-27 win over Carolina while adding five carries for 60 yards on the ground. Backup tight end Noah Gray went for 66 yards and 2 TDs and Kareem Hunt piled up 68 rushing yards. Starting running back Isiah Pacheco should return soon, but is not expected to suit up on Friday.
After leading the Chiefs to their third Super Bowl title in four seasons last year, Steve Spagnuolo’s defense is struggling of late. KC has allowed 325+ yards in two straight weeks. They pressured Bryce Young on just 7 of 35 pass attempts and couldn’t get off the field versus the Panthers in Week 12.

Raiders get rolled
Las Vegas suffered its seventh-straight loss in Week 12, falling to the Broncos 29-19. With Gardner Minshew out for the year with a broken collarbone and Aidan O’Connell just now eligible to come off IR, Desmond Ridder is in line to start on Friday. The former Falcon suffered a sack fumble just two plays after replacing Minshew on Sunday, thwarting any hope of a comeback.
The Raiders fell to the Chiefs 27-20 in Week 8, allowing Travis Kelce to rack up 10 receptions for 90 yards and a score. Mahomes passed for 262 yards, 2 TDs and an INT in that game, but given the state of his AFC West rivals, it’s fair to expect an even bigger performance on Black Friday.

Kansas City is a 13.5-point home favorite in Arrowhead Stadium, where they are a perfect 5-0 this season, with the over/under set at 42.5 points. The Chiefs are averaging 24.5 points per game (10th in NFL) while the Raiders (18.7 PPG) have a bottom-ten offense.
While the Chiefs have struggled defensively in recent weeks, they’re still top ten in points allowed per game (19.8). Meanwhile, Antonio Pierce’s club is permitting the fourth most points per week (28.5). Bottom line – this looks like it’s going to be a bloodbath.
