Ole Miss -180

The Ole Miss Rebels sit 3rd in the SEC with a 4-1 conference record.

Conference wins have come against Alabama (74-64), LSU (77-65), Arkansas (73-66), and Georgia (63-51). Their one SEC defeat came last weekend against MS State (84-81) in their most recent outing.

The standout performance in that run of victories was an outstanding 10-point win away at the No.4 Alabama Crimson Tide last week.

Alabama held a comfortable 36-32 lead at the halfway point. But the Rebels mounted a strong second-period comeback, outscoring Alabama by 14 points to end up as the 74-64 winners.

The Rebels couldn’t quite back that win up and lost their unbeaten conference record at MS State in their following outing.

Trailing 37-29 at the halfway point, Ole Miss mounted another impressive comeback in the second period, forcing the game into overtime.

But on the occasion, they didn’t get over the winning line. The Rebels were playing catch-up all night, and eventually, they ran out of luck as the Bulldogs outscored them 10-7 in the extra period.

The Rebels are 8-2 over their previous ten matches. Chris Beard’s team have scored an average of 75.5 points and conceded 63.9.

In the betting to win the SEC, Ole Miss is +2100. The Rebels are also +1600 to make it to the Final Four and +6500 to win the NCAA competition.

After the match against the Aggies, Ole Miss will travel to the Mizzou Arena in Columbia to face the Missouri Tigers on Saturday.

Texas A&M +150

The Texas A&M Aggies sit eighth in the SEC. They hold a conference record of 3-2.

The wins have come against LSU (68-57), Oklahoma (80-78), and the Texas Longhorns (80-60). The losses have come against Alabama (94-88) and Kentucky (81-69).

Kentucky is the last school to beat the Aggies. The loss match took place last Tuesday at the Rupp Arena. Texas managed to bounce back in style with a convincing 11-point win over LSU on Saturday night.

The win over the Tigers ended a two-match losing skid.

The Aggies boast an 8-2 record across their last ten outings. In the run, they scored an average of 75.3 points and conceded an average of 64.6.

Texas is +4000 to top the SEC in the regular season, +1600 to reach the Final Four, and +6500 to win the NCAA Championship.

Their next matchup after the Rebels is the return fixture against the Longhorns. Tip-off at the Moody Center is at 2.30 pm on Saturday.

Ole Miss Rebels vs. Texas A&M Aggies Betting Picks

The Rebels are 9-0 in home games. Texas is 1-2 on the road.

Ole Miss were off the pace against Mississippi State on Saturday, producing one of their poorest first-half performances of the season.

We don’t expect them to be that poor again when they take on the Aggies.

Despite being 11-0 down to MS State, the Rebels nearly came back to win the game. The fightback tells us Chris Beard’s team has plenty of grit and determination.

Furthermore, the second-period comeback against Alabama shows they can win the big matches when it matters.

We see this being a close match. But with the Rebels’ strong home record, we are backing them to cover the 3.5-point spread.
