Lamar Jackson dominates
Lamar Jackson followed up an MVP season in 2023 with even better numbers this year. The 27-year-old superstar passed for 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns with 915 rushing yards and four scores on the ground. However, Lamar has struggled against the Steelers throughout his career. Mike Tomlin has a 5-3 career record against Jackson.
In the season’s first meeting between the AFC North rivals, Lamar completed just 16 of 33 passes for 207 yards, a TD and an interception. However, Jackson lit up Pittsburgh in Week 16, passing for 207 yards, 3 TDs and an INT. Derrick Henry also added 162 yards on 24 carries in the 34-17 victory.

Steelers struggles
Russell Wilson and the Steelers couldn’t get anything going offensively for the fourth-straight week in a 19-17 loss to Cincinnati on Saturday. Wilson passed for 148 yards and a TD, failing to connect with George Pickens even once. The 36-year-old QB passed for 217 yards and 2 TDs against Baltimore in Week 16. But, he had a costly fumble near the Ravens goal line and tossed a fourth-quarter pick-six to cornerback Marlon Humphrey.
Having failed to scored more than 17 points in any of their past four games, Pittsburgh will be hard pressed to turn it around against a Baltimore defense that has improved significantly over the season’s second half.
Baltimore vs Pittsburgh
Baltimore is a 9.5-point home favorite at M&T Bank Stadium, where they are 6-2 this season, and the over/under is set at 45.5 points. The Ravens have the NFL’s third-highest scoring offense (30.5 points per game), and the league’s top rushing attack (187.6 yards per game).
Following Saturday’s 35-10 win over the Browns, John Harbaugh presented offensive coordinator Todd Monken with a game ball. Why? His offense became the first in NFL history to notch 4,000+ passing yards and 3,000+ rushing yards in one season.

Best Bet
Pittsburgh is 10-2 in the postseason against divisional opponents all-time with a 3-1 playoff record against the Ravens. However, this will mark the first time the AFC North rivals have met in a postseason game in Baltimore.
While Lamar Jackson has failed to deliver in the playoffs on multiple occasions throughout his career, we don’t think he’ll be stopped on Saturday night. We’ll take the Ravens to cover (-9.5) with the OVER 45.5.
