St. Louis Blues
The Blues have been on a poor run of form in recent days. They are 4-5-1 in their last ten matches, scoring an average of two goals and conceding 2.8 per game.
Conceding more than you are scoring is always going to create a problem. And with a negative goal differential over the season, it’s not anything new to the Blues’ head coach Jim Montgomery, who has only been in the job for just over two months.

St. Louis’ latest setback leaves them in the bottom half of the Central Division with 53 points from 54 matches. They are +50000 to win the division in the regular season.
The Blues are +6000 to win the Western Conference and +12500 to win the Stanley Cup.

Having been on a decent run in 2025, the Florida Panthers’ form has leveled off in recent days. In their last ten matches, they are 6-4-0. In that run of fixtures, Florida has scored an average of 3.6 goals per game and given up 2.1.
The Panthers lost 6-3 to the Capitals in Washington on Tuesday. The match was a classic with the two teams tied at 2-2 at the end of the 2nd period. What happened in the 3rd won’t have impressed Panthers’ head coach Paul Maurice as his team conceded four times.

The defeat ended a three-match winning run for Florida. Despite the loss, the Panthers are still top of the Atlantic Division. They have 67 points from 55 matches. But they now only hold a one-point lead over the Maples Leafs, having played two more matches than Toronto.
The result has impacted the betting to win the Atlantic Division. Ahead of their match with the Capitals, Florida was -130 to win the division, with the Maple Leafs at +180. Florida and Toronto are now the +115 joint favorites to win the division in the regular season.
