Shaq favored over Sir Charles
Shaquille O’Neal (+250) is the favorite, but the Hall of Fame center was already featured on the Platinum Comedy Series Roasting Shaquille O’Neal years ago, enduring barbs from Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer among others.
While Shaq is certainly a big target at 7-foot-1, his Inside the NBA co-host Charles Barkley (+600) is equally famous and lovable. His gambling addiction, weight and golf swing would also provide the necessary fodder.

Basketball’s GOAT debate
Michael Jordan (+1400) is almost worth $2 billion and earned over $250 million last year alone from licensing his name to Nike. While he has no reason to follow in Brady’s footsteps, LeBron James (+800) might be intrigued if Netflix agreed to keep the ‘Greatest Roasts of All Time’ branding.
The problem, of course, is King James is painfully boring. Aside from not being able to sniff MJ’s jockstrap, he provides almost zero material for the comedians to work off.
More NFL stars?
Travis Kelce (+800) is an excellent wager… if he were to suddenly break up with Taylor Swift. Until then, no chance the star tight end gets roasted. Patrick Mahomes (+900) was already featured on Netflix’s Quarterback series. Although, it’s hard to make fun of a guy who’s won three Super Bowls by age 28.
Peyton Manning (+1000) is certainly a guy who knows how to make fun of himself, but how many ways can one tell a “huge forehead” joke? The subject matter at the Michael Vick (+1400) roast would be uncomfortable to say the least, and Gronk (+1600) already took his licks during Brady’s event. That leaves conspiracy theorist Aaron Rodgers (+1600) as the juiciest possibility among NFLers.
Nikki Glaser rips on Ben Affleck for bombing at the Netflix roast of Tom Brady.
“I haven’t watched it again because I don’t like to watch people bomb. He didn’t prepare. He’s someone who’s famous enough he probably thinks it’s beneath him to do this. Like, ‘I’m just gonna do a… pic.twitter.com/ywyjJu99OH

Best longshot
Tiger Woods (+1200) is the dream roast for every comedian with a Swedish nanny ex-wife, multiple car crashes and numerous affairs under his belt. While he has almost $2 billion in career winnings, appearance fees and endorsements, perhaps Netflix could make him an offer he can’t refuse.
Best bet
David Beckham (+1600) answered “No” when Jimmy Kimmel asked him recently if he would want to do his own roast. However, the global soccer icon would be the perfect follow up for the global streaming service given it’s a much more popular sport worldwide.
