This week, eight of the top Counter-Strike 2 teams compete in the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 tournament. The prize pool for the event is $425,000. The victorious squad takes home $200,000 of that amount, while the runner-up pockets $85,000. The victorious club also earns 3,200 BLAST Premier points and a spot in the BLAST Premier: World Final 2024, which is scheduled to take place in November. The prize pool for the Final is $1 million, with the winning team getting $500,000. Team Spirit won the 2024 edition of the BLAST Premier Spring Final, beating Natus Vincere in the Grand Final.
The following teams are participating in this year’s BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024 event: FaZe Clan, Team Spirit, Team Vitality, Astralis, Natus Vincere, G2 Esports, Team Falcons, and Team Liquid.
The eight teams competing in this event begin in two groups of four in a double-elimination format. The top three clubs from each group move on to the single-elimination playoffs. The Semifinals of the Playoffs are best-of-three, and the Grand Final is best-of-five.

Team Vitality
Team Vitality has performed well since placing 3rd-4th in the Blast Premier: Spring Final. The European club placed 1st-4th in the Fall Groups event, beating Astralis and GamerLegion in Group B. They then went on to win the IEM Cologne 2024 event, winning $400,000 with a victory over Natus Vincere in the Grand Final of that tournament. Last year, Team Vitality finished first in the BLAST Premier World Final, taking home $500,000 for their victory over FaZe Clan in the Grand Final.
Team Vitality has the same roster for the BLAST Premier Fall Final as it did in winning the World Final last year.
The team begins this week’s event in Group B along with Astralis, Team Liquid, and Team Spirit.
Team Vitality are the No. 1 CS2 team in the Global Rankings.
Natus Vincere
The No. 2 team in the CS2 Global Rankings, Natus Vincere is among the betting favorites for the 2024 BLAST Premier Fall Final. The club plays out of Europe.
Natus Vincere finished the 2023 BLAST Premier World Final in 3rd-4th place after losing to Team Vitality in the Semifinals of that event. They improved a bit in the 2024 BLAST Premier Spring Final, finishing as the runner-up in that event after losing to Team Spirit in the Grand Final. They then won the Esports World Cup in July before placing 5th-6th in the Fall Groups event. Natus Vincere then bounced back at IEM Cologne, but fell short of winning, losing to Team Vitality in the Grand Final of that tournament 3-1.
Natus Vincere heads into the 2024 BLAST Premier Fall Final with the same roster the team had to end 2023.
The club is in Group A to begin this event along with FaZe Clan, Team Falcons, and G2 Esports.
Team Spirit
Team Spirit had a poor showing in the Spring Groups, finishing in 13th-16th place. However, the team bounced back from that performance with a runner-up finish in the Spring Showdown, losing to SAW in the Grand Final. That second-place finish earned the squad a spot in the Spring Final, where they went on to place first, downing Natus Vincere in the Grand Final. The Russian team followed that with a 1st-4th place finish in the Fall Groups. However, things went sideways for Team Spirit in Cologne, where they finished in 13th-16th place. Team Spirit bounced back at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 No. 2, with a win.
Team Spirit are the No. 4 team in the CS2 Global Standings. The club has the same roster since the end of 2023.
