Speculation for the end of the year provides plenty of time for the price to fluctuate. It has only exceeded the $4000.50 price point once in early April for a few days.
However, there is a presidential election this year, and many other factors can contribute to Ethereum’s price increases.
I’m not buying it, however, and I estimate that Ethereum will fall flat and end the year under the $4000.50 price point.

Bitcoin vs. Ethereum
Let’s delve into a unique market that pits two of the most popular cryptocurrencies against each other. We’re presented with the option to bet whether Bitcoin will reach $100,000 first or Ethereum will reach $6,000.

Further research suggests that Ethereum may be gaining popularity, but the evidence must fully support this claim.
In this scenario, I respectfully agree with the oddsmakers. I have confidence in Bitcoin’s trajectory and will continue to support it whenever the opportunity arises.
When will Ethereum hit $6K?
The next prop we will explore with Ethereum is if it will ever reach the $6,000 mark.

This one is pure speculation as Ethereum has never even reached $5,000, so the $6,000 price seems out of reach. Oddsmakers certainly feel that way.
It doesn’t seem very likely that it will reach that mark in the next six months. -2000 odds are a virtual lock at any sportsbook, so it’s difficult to disagree with them.

However, there are some fun props if you want to explore this market even further. For example, we can speculate as to which month Ethereum reaches the $6,000 mark.
December provides the best odds because it gives the bettor the most time. You have until the very last day of December, hoping to reach the $6,000 mark. 10-1 odds are not the worst but are challenging to overcome.
November is the month we will examine next. This seems to be another popular selection because it provides more time for Ethereum to reach the $6,000 mark.
