The stars of NASCAR will be taking their turns around the roval this week and it isn’t the usual suspects that the oddsmakers are picking to be contending for the win.
Road-course specialist Shane Van Gisbergen is the +575 betting favorite to win the Bank of America Roval 400. His Kaulig Racing teammate AJ Allmendinger, who won this race in 2023, is set as the co-third betting choice at +800.
Joining him at those odds is current NASCAR Cup Series points leader William Byron. Kyle Larson, the 2021 NASCAR champion, is given odds of +700 to win the race.
This race sees the conversion of Charlotte Motor Speedway into a hybrid track that is part oval and part road course. Hence the name roval.

The hybrid circuit at Charlotte includes 17 turns and a 35-foot elevation change. The distance around a lap is 12.28 miles. The drivers will be required to complete 109 laps to finish the 248.5 miles of this race. The Bank Of America Roval 400 is divided into three stages of 25, 25 and 59 laps.

Following the completion of this race, the NASCAR Cup playoff field will be whittled down from 12 to eight drivers. Any driver who wins a race during the playoffs will be automatically advancing to the next round.

Larson is coming to Charlotte after posting a career-high fourth-place finish at Talledega last week. It was his second successive top-five finish in a race.
Byron is the only driver to have already clinched his spot in the Round of 8. The NASCAR Cup Series leaders has three wins this season, but none since Race 8 of the season.
Oddsmakers are all over the board when it comes to Tyler Reddick. The Toyota driver is +700 at BetUS, +900 at Betonline and +1000 at Bovada.
Best Bets To Win 2024 NASCAR Cup Series
Byron may be already locked into the final eight and situated atop the standings, but he’s not getting the love from those who set the NASCAR Cup Series future odds. At +550, he’s the co-third betting choice to win the title at Bovada.
Denny Hamlin, who’s never won the NASCAR Cup Series championship, is also at +550. Larson, currently sitting third overall in the standings, is getting a betting line of +400.
It’s the steady Christopher Bell that Bovada is backing to win it all. He’s showing the favorite’s betting line of +200.
Bank Of America Roval 400 Winner Betting Picks and Predictions
Allmendinger utterly dominated the second half of last year’s race in winning the Bank Of American Roval 400. You can never count him out in a road race.
Larson is an all-around talent who can win on any circuit. He’s been a winner of five NASCAR road-course wins since the start of the 2021 season.
Bryon has run in the top three in each of the past two races. However, in the last NASCAR road race, he finished 34th at Watkins Glen.
Reddick has shown well on road courses this season. Reddick was fifth on the Circuit of the Americas, eighth at Sonoma and second in Chicago.
