Kyle Larson the pick at talior-made Nashville Superspeedway

Nashville Superspeedway is the venue for race 19 of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series. The drivers will fight it out over 300 laps of the tri-oval circuit in the Ally 400. Ross Chastain won here in 2023. But he’s not the betting favorite to do so again in 2024. That honor belongs to Kyle Larson who is +400 to add the 2024 title to the one he won in 2021. In our latest NASCAR betting picks, we tell you if Larson can do it.

The Big Picture

The Ally 400 race marks the passing of the halfway point of the 2024 season.

The Nashville Super Speedway track is 1.330 miles long with four turns. The banking ranges from 14% on the four turns to 6% on the backstretch. On the front stretch of the concrete tri-oval, the banking is 9%.

The Ally 400 has been hosted here since 2021. Previous winners include Kyle Larson in 2021, Chase Elliott in 2022, and Ross Chastain in 2023. The circuit is expected to suit the likes of Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Larson.

Speaking of Kyle Larson, and over the past few weeks he has looked like the man to beat in 2024.

The Hendrick driver had a disappointing weekend at the Iowa Corn 350 a couple of weeks back. But last weekend he underlined his credentials as the main man with an excellent fourth-place finish at the USA Today 301. The race winner was Christopher Bell.

Betting to win the 2024 Ally 400

For the first time in three races, Christopher Bell isn’t the favorite to win. Bell led the betting at the Iowa Corn 350 and the USA Today 301.

Replacing Bell as the betting favorite at Nashville Superspeedway is Kyle Larson. The 2021 race winner is the +400 betting favorite to win the Ally 400. Larson leads the way ahead of Denny Hamlin at +550 and Christopher Bell at +650.

The 2023 race winner, Ross Chastain is +700. Chase Elliott is next at +750, with Martin Truex Jr. at +800 and William Byron and Ryan Blaney at +900. Completing the market leaders is Tyler Reddick at +1000.

Betting to win the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series

Chase Elliott went into the USA Today 301 as the leader in the Cup Series points table. Elliott had taken over from the previous leader Kyle Larson after a third-place finish at the Iowa Corn 350.

Elliott could only manage 18th place at New Hampshire. Kyle Larson finished fourth, and as a result, the Hendrick teammates both have 620 points. Larson tops the table on the tie-breaker rule having won three races to Elliott’s one.

In the betting to win the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series, the result at New Hampshire hasn’t changed anything with the top two. But Christopher Bell has continued his rise up the betting odds.

Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin still lead the betting at +400. Christopher Bell is the new third-favorite at +450 after his win at the USA Today 301 and his fourth place at Iowa.

Bell was +650 ahead of New Hampshire and +750 ahead of Iowa. His two recent performances have seen him leap ahead of William Byron in the betting. Byron is out to +550, having been +500 ahead of last Sunday’s race.

Elsewhere, Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney are +1000. Martin Truex Jr. remains on +1400, alongside Tyler Reddick.

2024 Ally 400 Betting Picks and Predictions

The Nashville Superspeedway circuit looks tailor-made for Kyle Larson and his Hendrick team. Larson and Chase Elliott have both previously won this race and both feature among the favorites again for this Sunday.

For our picks, we are again going to follow the statistics that led us to a win last weekend with Christopher Bell. And this weekend the stats point towards Kyle Larson.

Larson is three from three for top-five finishes in this race. He has also got an excellent record on these types of circuits. Overall this season, Larson has been the man to beat. He has three wins, eight top fives, and nine top tens.

Kyle Larson is our first betting pick to win the Ally 400.

We also say that Larson’s Hendrick teammate Chase Elliott is worth a wager this weekend. Elliott has been consistent all season. He might only have one win, but he also has seven top fives, nine top tens, and zero DNFs.

To win the race, Elliott is +750, to finish in the top five, he is +130. We are backing Chase Elliott to finish in the top five for our second betting pick.
