Credit goes to the Lakers for effectively neutralizing Murray, especially after his explosive 89-point performance across wins against the Trail Blazers and Hornets earlier in the week.
With their trade of Luka Doncic for Anthony Davis, the Lakers adopted smaller lineups that successfully contained Jokic throughout the night, limiting him to just seven shot attempts.
The strategy paid off, and while the three-time MVP has had an outstanding season, even he can have an off night. Denver will look to regroup in their upcoming challenging road game against the rising Pacers.
