• Sunday, Feb. 18 at 8 p.m. ET
It’s go time! With regular season games wrapping up this weekend for a weekend break, all eyes will be on the upcoming All-Star Game. Every season, the best players in the NBA take center stage for a memorable showdown, divided by the two conferences. On Sunday, people across the planet can’t wait to see how things go down. With that said, it’s no surprise that the NBA Western Conference Team is a slight favorite in the 2024 All-Star Game. Will they come out on top?
When taking a look at both rosters, it really is mind-blowing how stacked the lineups will be. Out West, LeBron James is the captain of the Western Conference and he will be ready to put on a show. Despite getting close to 40 years old, James remains one of the best players in the league. Whenever the ASG rolls around too, he’s always coming through in the clutch for his team. There’s no question in our mind he’ll be ready to ball out in this one.
All-Star Game odds | |||
Western Conference to win | -110 | -110 | -110 |
Eastern Conference to win | +125 | +125 | +125 |
Over 353 points | -110 | -110 | -110 |
Under 353 points | -110 | -110 | -110 |
Luckily for James, he also has plenty of other big-name players on his side. This includes Steph Curry, Kevin Durant and others. Durant continues to look outstanding ever since he made the move to the Phoenix Suns. Once a year, everyone gets to see James and Durant suit up together and it’s sure to be a lot of fun. We expect both of these stars to put up a lot of points against the Eastern Conference.
According to the best-rated sportsbooks, which includes the reliable Bovada review, the Western Conference holds -110 NBA betting odds to come away with a win on Sunday. As for the Eastern Conference, they have an upset on their minds, as they hold +125 NBA betting odds. We think this is going to be a super close game and some high-flying dunks are sure to be posted. With all of that said, we’re going with the Western Conference as our pick in this one.

Damian Lillard is the favorite to win the 3-Point Contest
While everyone can’t wait to see the big game on Sunday, plenty of people will be focused on some of the other events too. This includes the fact that Damian Lillard is the favorite to win the 3-point contest over the weekend. There’s no question at all that the slam-dunk contest and the 3-point contests are two spectacles that fans can’t wait for. The 3-point contest will feature some of the best shooters in the game, of course including Lillard.
People are so used to seeing Lillard put on a show with Portland, but he’s now with the Bucks. Despite him being in the Eastern Conference now instead of the Western Conference, that doesn’t take away from the fact that he’s a lethal shooter. Lillard can knock down shots from all over the hardwood, including from the perimeter. Lillard has a great shot and it will be on full display in Indianapolis.

“How I feel about the organization here and my time that I spent here, in my mind I’ve always felt like that’s how my career would end,” Lillard said about Portland recently. “Right now, I’m just in a space of like, this is where I am now. I’m in Milwaukee. I wanted the opportunity to contend, and our team has an opportunity to contend for this year and years to come, and I’m just living in that. But I definitely, when I was traded, I see a day where I’ll be in a Trail Blazer uniform again before I’m done.”
As you can see from that quote, Lillard still has a ton of love for the Blazers, but he’s ready to make some great memories with Milwaukee too. Per the oddsmakers, Lillard holds +250 odds to win the 3-point contest. Keep in mind that he won the contest at this time last year. It won’t be easy for him, but we are confident that Lillard will be able to defend his title. We’re going with the Bucks star as our pick.
The over should hit for the 2024 All-Star Game
Back to the game on Sunday, come on, the over should hit for the 2024 All-Star Game and we don’t think it’s going to be too close. When the ASG arrives, it’s almost like the two sides forget to play defense. Remember that this isn’t a game that the players take seriously when it comes to trying to reach their goal of the NBA Finals.
Instead, this is more of a showcase for fans to enjoy and they’re not going to be breaking a sweat on the defensive side of the ball. Instead, the main goal for the players is to score a lot of points and make the people in the stands happy. With the over/under set at 353 points, yes, that’s a lot, but this is going to be a track race in terms of guys running up and down the floor. Look for the over to be recorded in this one.
