Missouri Tigers
The Tigers are 7-3 in their last ten matches. Over the ten matches, Dennis Gates’ team has averaged 77.9 points per game and conceded an average of 69.4 points per game.
More recently, Missouri bounced back well from back-to-back defeats to Tennessee and Texas A&M.
The Tigers won their next match 82-58 against Oklahoma. They followed that up with an 87-74 over the Georgia Bulldogs in their most recent outing last weekend.
Missouri’s Caleb Grill and Anthony Robinson II, both scored 15 points each in the win as the Bulldogs lost a three-point halftime lead when they suffered a second-half collapse.
Missouri won’t mind how the wins come. It was another one in what is becoming a very successful season. The Tigers were winless in conference play last season. So, no matter how their 2024/25 campaign plays out, the turnaround in their fortunes has already been nothing short of sensational.
Missouri is the joint-fifth favorite to win the SEC at an unlikely +40000. The Tigers are +1500 to reach the Final Four and +6000 to win the National Championship.
Following the clash with Alabama, the Tigers will travel to Fayetteville on Saturday night to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Alabama Crimson Tide
The Crimson Tide are 8-2 in their last ten matches. Nate Oats’ team averaged 89.4 points per game, with their opponents averaging 82.7.
Alabama will be looking to bounce back from a 94-85 defeat to the Auburn Tigers at the Coliseum on Saturday night. The defeat ended a seven-match winning streak.

It also resulted in the Crimson Tide losing the No.2 position in the AP Top 25 teams and dropping two places to No.4.
Mark Sears scored 12 points for Alabama in the match. But his efforts weren’t enough to extend the Crimson Tide’s winning streak.
Johni Broome scored 19 points for Auburn. He was ably supported by Denver Jones (16), Miles Kelly (15), Chad Baker-Mazara (15), Chaney Johnson (14), and Tahaad Pettiford (13), who all reached double figures in a great team performance from the No.1 ranked school.
Try as they did, Alabama just couldn’t get to grips with Auburn. They now have to regroup and go again. Nate Oats knows his team still has plenty to play for this season, and strange things can happen in the postseason – it’s not a given that Auburn is simply going to walk away with the National Championship.
Alabama is the +650 second favorite to win the SEC (Auburn leads the way at -700). The Crimson Tide is +175 to reach the Final Four and +1000 to win the 2025 National Championship.
Following their visit to Columbia, the Crimson Tide will return to the Coleman Coliseum on Saturday to host No.17 Kentucky.
Missouri vs. Alabama Betting Picks
Missouri is 16-1 at home, and Alabama is 8-1 on the road. These are two very strong records, but one of the two teams is going to suffer a setback on Wednesday.
If the Crimson Tide can take the positives out of their loss to Auburn, they can approach this match with confidence. If they are downbeat and feel sorry for themselves, they will most likely lose.
We are going with the former. The team has come a long way under Nate Oats in recent months. Our pick is for Alabama to bounce back with a win.
