Burden to blow up in 2024?
Luther Burden (+300) earned first-team All-SEC honors after hauling in 86 catches for 1,212 yards and nine touchdowns in his sophomore year in Missouri. In 2023, the five-star recruit was one of five FBS receivers with 22 or more receptions of 20-plus yards in 2023.
The Athletic’s Dane Brugler comped Burden to Ja’Marr Chase at LSU and legendary head coach Nick Saban recently called him a “complete player”. That sounds like a guy who could be picking up hardware in December.

Top Biletnikoff contenders
Deion Burks (+800) transferred to Oklahoma after pacing Purdue with 629 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last season. The 5-foot-9, 191-pound junior isn’t known for having the most reliable hands, but he did appear on Bruce Feldman’s annual “Freaks” list after squatting 540lbs and benching 400lbs.
Tetairoa McMillan (+800) was one of three FBS players with at least 90 catches, 1,400 receiving yards and 10 TD receptions in 2023. The other two were Rome Odunze and Malik Nabers. The 6-foot-5 behemoth is excellent at high-pointing the ball. In his breakout sophomore campaign with Arizona, he dropped only two of 130 targets.
Juicy longshot
Travis Hunter (+3000) is likely the best player in college football. In nine games for Colorado last year, the dual-position superstar put up 721 receiving yards and five touchdowns on offense and a team-leading three interceptions on defense. If Coach Prime gives him more snaps at receiver, the sky’s the limit.

Buckeyes pass catchers
Emeka Egbuka (+1000) reeled in 74 catches for 1,151 yards and 10 scores in 2022 before an injury-plagued 2023. With Marvin Harrison Jr. in the NFL, there should be plenty of targets up for grabs in Ohio State.
The only problem is Jeremiah Smith (+1200) may be the one gobbling them up. The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Smith has impressed his teammates, becoming the first freshman ever to be named an “Iron Buckeye” as one of the 10 strongest and toughest performers in offseason workouts.
Best Bet
Isaiah Bond (+1400) transferred to Texas despite leading Alabama with 48 receptions last season. With Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell also in the pros, the former high school track star should command Quinn Ewers’ attention in Steve Sarkisian’s explosive Longhorns offense.
