San Francisco is tied for last in the NFC West and in grave danger of missing the playoffs after losing at home to the Seahawks on Sunday. The 49ers will now head to Lambeau Field to face the Packers, who beat the Bears for the 11th-straight time thanks to a blocked field goal at the buzzer.

San Francisco in trouble
Missing both George Kittle and Nick Bosa, the 49ers blew another fourth-quarter lead on Sunday. Geno Smith went 7-of-8 for 54 yards on the final drive before running in a 13-yard touchdown to give the Seahawks their first win against the Niners in seven tries.
Christian McCaffrey was relatively quiet in his second game of the season, touching the ball 23 times for 106 scoreless yards. Jauan Jennings also added 91 receiving yards and a TD in a losing effort. At 5-5, San Francisco is tied with the Rams and Seahawks, one win back of the NFC West-leading Cardinals. However, they have a 1-3 record in divisional games and have tough road contests on tap with Green Bay and Buffalo.

Packers barely prevail
Green Bay blocked Chicago’s field goal attempt at the buzzer to secure a 20-19 victory. Jordan Love had an up and down game. While he threw his 11th interception of the season, he also hit Christian Watson for a 60-yard catch-and-run that set up the go-ahead TD late in the fourth quarter. Watson finished with four grabs for 150 yards and Josh Jacobs went for 134 combined yards and a score.
At 7-3, the Packers are comfortably in a playoff spot but third-place in the NFC North behind the Lions and Vikings. Last year, Matt LaFleur’s club lost a 24-21 divisional-round thriller to the 49ers, sending San Francisco to its third straight NFC championship game.
Green Bay vs San Francisco
Green Bay is a 1.5-point home favorite at Lambeau Field this Sunday with the over/under set at 48 points. Both clubs are averaging exactly 25 points per game (tied for 8th in NFL) and each have top-ten rushing offenses. The Packers rank No. 4 with 149.9 rushing yards per game and the 49ers are at 147.8. Kyle Shanahan’s team has fared slightly better through the air, ranking No. 4 with 251.1 passing yards per contest versus GB’s 237.7 YPG (8th).
San Francisco is limiting opponents to 105 rushing yards (8th) and 197.2 passing yards per game (8th). Meanwhile, the Packers are allowing 119.6 rushing yards (14th) and 207.5 passing yards (13th).
