Kyler Murray and the Cardinals now head to Seattle for the first of two games in three weeks against their division rivals. Geno Smith and the Seahawks are only one game back in the division after a comeback victory over the Niners on Sunday.

Seattle stuns San Francisco
Geno Smith completed 25 of 32 passes for 221 yards, an interception and the game-winning rushing score in a 20-17 victory over the Niners on Sunday. The Seahawks journeyman quarterback now has the most game-winning drives (7) in the NFL since 2023. Mike McDonald’s defense also looked much better after their Week 11 bye, stopping San Francisco’s offense in critical moments of the fourth quarter.
At 5-5, Seattle is tied with the 49ers and Rams in the NFC West, just one win behind the Cardinals. However, they’re just 2-4 at home with a pivotal game with Arizona coming to town.

Cardinals keep winning
No one was picking the Cardinals to win the NFC West before the season. However, Jonathan Gannon’s squad is leading their division after winning three consecutive games. Before a Week 11 bye, Kyler Murray completed 22 of 24 passes for 266 yards and a TD with two rushing scores in a 31-6 beatdown of the Jets.
Arizona’s defense hasn’t allowed a touchdown in two games in a row. In the victory over New York, safety Budda Baker recorded nine tackles, a sack and three tackles for loss

Seattle vs Arizona is listed as a pick’em with the over/under set at 47.5 points. The Cardinals and Seahawks both rank just outside the top ten in scoring, averaging 23.8 PPG and 23 PPG, respectively. But the two teams are mirror images of each other on offense. While Arizona has the No. 5 rushing attack in the NFL (149.4 yards per game), they’re just 23rd in passing yards (197). Seattle is No. 2 in passing (260.9 YPG) and 28th in rushing (91.5).
Mike McDonald’s defense is 27th against the run, allowing 138.6 yards per contest. That sets up well for James Conner, who already has four 100+ yard rushing efforts on the season.
