Kansas City has a tenuous hold on the No. 1 seed and first-round AFC playoff bye after a botched snap gifted them a 19-17 Black Friday win over the Raiders. Will the Chiefs’ incredible good luck continue this week against the Chargers? Jim Harbaugh’s team picked off Kirk Cousins four times to secure a 17-13 victory over the Falcons on Sunday.

KC steals another win
Kansas City became the first NFL team to clinch a playoff spot with their 19-17 victory over Las Vegas on Sunday. The 2-point win followed a 3-point triumph over the Panthers a week ago, and a 2-point W over Denver in Week 10. No matter the situation, Andy Reid’s team always seems to prevail despite never playing that well.
Patrick Mahomes incurred five sacks against the Raiders, and scored just one touchdown on five red-zone trips. On the bright side, Isiah Pacheco returned to the lineup last week, picking up 44 yards on seven carries.

Chargers steal a victory
The Chargers defeated the Falcons 17-13 on Sunday despite managing just 87 total yards of offense – the fewest they’ve had in a win since 2007. Justin Herbert was sacked five times by an Atlanta defense that had only 10 sacks all season entering the contest. Herbert was also sacked four times by the Ravens the previous week.
Los Angeles still came away with the Week 13 victory thanks to their defense. The Bolts only allowed Kirk Cousins to make 3 of 14 third-down conversions and intercepted him four times.
Kansas City vs Los Angeles
Kansas City is a 4-point home favorite at Arrowhead Stadium, where they remain a perfect 6-0, and the over/under is set at 43 points. The two teams combined for only 27 points in the Chiefs’ 17-10 Week 4 win. While the Chargers’ offense has showed signs of life of late, they’ll be without J.K. Dobbins (MCL sprain) and rookie wide receiver Ladd McConkey (knee).
Los Angeles has the No. 1 scoring defense in the NFL, limiting opponents to 15.7 points per game. And KC ranks #8 (19.6 PPG), so don’t expect too many fireworks on Sunday Night Football.

Best Bet
With no running game to speak of and limited receiving options to say the least, Justin Herbert will have a lot on his shoulders on Sunday night. However, Steve Spagnuolo’s defense struggled to hold on to big leads against the Raiders and Panthers over the past two weeks.
Kansas City simply can’t be trusted to cover so we’ll take the Chargers (+4) with the UNDER 43.
