Cowboys lose again
Dallas almost came back from a 28-6 deficit versus Baltimore, but dropped their second-consecutive game. After being gashed by Alvin Kamara for 115 rushing yards and three scores, the Cowboys defense gave up 151 yards and two TDs to Derrick Henry in the 28-25 defeat.
Mike Zimmer’s defense ranked near the bottom of the league in his last two years in Minnesota. The game may have passed him by.
New York vs Dallas
Dallas is a 4.5-point road favorite over New York. Mike McCarthy’s club blew the Giants out in both contests last year – a 40-0 shutout in September followed by a 49-17 blowout in November. They have six-straight victories over their NFC East rivals.
The over/under on Thursday’s matchup is set at 43.5 points. Brian Daboll’s squad has hit the under in all three contests this season while every Cowboys game has gone way over.

Key storylines
Dallas will be looking to get off to a fast start on offense on Thursday. Dak Prescott only had 192 passed yards through three quarters in Sunday’s loss to Baltimore before exploding for 187 in the fourth quarter. CeeDee Lamb was also bottled up by the Ravens secondary, only managing four receptions for 67 yards.
After allowing 89 combined points to the Cowboys last year, New York will be out for revenge. Offseason acquisition Brian Burns had a career-high seven pressures against the Browns on Sunday with one sack.
Best Bet
Dallas has owned New York in recent years but Big Blue’s defense looks much improved this season. We’ll take the Giants to cover the 4.5-point spread at home on Thursday Night Football with the OVER 43.5 points.
