Goff vs Geno
Jaren Goff passed for 198 yards and two TDs in a 20-13 win over Arizona in Week 4. But, he tossed his fourth interception of the young season and could’ve potentially cost his Lions the game if his pick-six before the two-minute wasn’t erroneously overturned. On the bright side, he picked up a key first down with a decisive strike to Amon-Ra St. Brown that sealed the game.
Geno Smith made a few mistakes of his own in Seattle’s 24-3 victory over Miami, tossing two picks in a game he also threw for 289 yards and a score. The highlight of his afternoon was a 71-yard touchdown bomb to DK Metcalf, who’s looked electric in the Seahawks new-look offense.
Jared Goff threw an interception, trying to fit a ball into a tight window. The Lions quarterback has thrown 4 INT this season.

Two strong defenses
Mike McDonald’s arrival has revived Seattle’s long-dormant defense. The Seahawks have held opponents to fewer than 150 passing yards in each game this season. However, the NFL’s No. 1 passing defense could be without both defensive tackles on Monday night after rookie Byron Murphy II (hamstring) and Leonard Williams (ribs) exited their Week 3 win over Miami with injuries.
Aaron Glenn’s Lions defense is holding teams to 17.7 points per game. Detroit nearly shut out the Cardinals in the second half of Sunday’s 20-13 victory. Aidan Hutchinson has a league-leading 6.5 sacks this year with sacks in five straight contests.
Detroit vs Seattle
Detroit is a 3.5-point home favorite on Monday Night Football and the over/under is set at 47-points. In a scheduling quirk, this is the fourth-consecutive season these two teams have met with the Seahawks holding a 3-0 record against Dan Campbell’s club. Seattle topped the Lions 37-31 in Week 2 last year and their two meetings before that were even higher scoring affairs.
Kenneth Walker III could return in Week 4 to complement Zach Charbonnet, who ran for 91 yards and 2 TDs against Miami. The Lions have a two-headed backfield of their own with Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, who combined for 188 rushing yards and a score last week.

Best Bet
This is one of the most fascinating matchups of the week. While Seattle is a perfect 3-0, they’ve played one of the easier schedules in the NFL in going up against the Broncos, Patriots and Tua-less Dolphins.
Having already tasted defeat this season, the Lions should be motivated to take care of business at home on Monday Night Football. We like Detroit to cover the 3.5 points with the UNDER 47.
