- Jacksonville (1-5) is a 5.5-point favorite over New England (1-5) in the third NFL International Series game of the season
- The Jaguars hold a 6-6 all-time record in London Games following their 35-16 loss to the Bears in Week 6
- Sunday’s Week 7 matchup kicks off from Wembley Stadium in London, England at 9:30 am ET
Doug Pederson is likely coaching for his job as the 1-5 Jaguars play their second London game in as many weeks. After being annihilated 35-16 by Caleb Williams and the Bears in Week 6, Jacksonville will face another rookie signal-caller on Sunday. Drake Maye impressed in his Patriots debut despite suffering a 41-21 blowout loss to Houston.

Maye day Maye day!
Drake Maye passed for 243 yards and three touchdowns in his season debut. New England’s No. 3 overall pick showed off his arm, hitting Kayshon Boutte for a 40-yard TD in the second quarter, and his legs in rushing for 38 yards. However, the 22-year-old may not enjoy the same success as Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels this year.
The Patriots’ terrible offensive line led to Maye taking a blindside sack and fumbling in the 41-21 loss to Houston. Maye also badly overthrew one of his two interceptions on the day.

Jaguars get blown out
Trevor Lawrence passed for 234 yards with two TDs and an interception in the Jaguars’ 35-16 loss to Chicago on Sunday. If the former No. 1 overall pick doesn’t put more than 16 points on the board against the Patriots, he’ll likely be playing for his third coach in four seasons.
Doug Pederson’s seat is red hot following his team’s miserable effort versus the Bears. He suggested his team “needs a change of culture” following the Week 6 loss, seemingly forgetting that he’s the head coach. Jacksonville is now 2-10 in its past 12 games dating back to December of last year.
Jacksonville vs New England
Jacksonville is a 5.5-point favorite on Sunday and the game’s over/under is set at 42.5 points. Having played the previous week in London, the Jaguars hold a major advantage over their opponents. Keep in mind, they upset the Bills 25-20 under the same circumstances last season. That said, the Jags are just 6-6 all-time across the Pond.
New England won both of their previous trips to Wembley Stadium in 2009 and 2012, but that’s when they were quarterbacked by Tom Brady and coached by Bill Belichick. Last year, the Patriots fell 10-6 to the Colts in Frankfurt, Germany.

Best Bet
Jacksonville has the NFL’s second-worst scoring defense in the NFL, allowing 29.7 points per game. They’re also permitting the most passing yards per game (276.7). While New England isn’t much better in either category, Drake Maye has brought good vibes and hope to Foxborough.
We’ll take the Patriots to cover the +5.5 points with the OVER 42.5.
