Matthew Stafford connected with Demarcus Robinson on a 39-yard touchdown pass in overtime to give the Rams a 26-20 victory over the Seahawks last Sunday. Riding a three-game winning streak and back in the race for the NFC West division title, Los Angeles hosts a Dolphins team that’s dropped three in a row.

Rams keep rolling
Matthew Stafford passed for 298 yards, 2 TDs and an interception in a 26-20 OT victory over the rival Seahawks on Sunday. Just one week after returning from injury, Puka Nacua was ejected early in the game for throwing a punch. In his absence, Cooper Kupp made 11 receptions for 104 yards, and DeMarcus Robinson added 94 yards and two TDs.
Finally healthy and fresh off their third-consecutive win, Los Angeles is in the thick of the NFC West title race, tied with the 49ers at 4-4 and just one win behind the Cardinals.

Dolphins drop another one
Tua Tagovailoa passed for 231 yards and 2 TDs in a 30-27 defeat to Buffalo. While the Dolphins are a much better team with Tua in the huddle than their 2-6 record suggests, they made several costly blunders on Sunday. With the game tied at 27, safety Jordan Poyer took a massive unnecessary roughness penalty to set the Bills up for a game-winning field goal.
In addition to cutting out the errors, coach Mike McDaniel needs to find a way to get the ball to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Both receivers are on pace to finish with fewer than 1,000 receiving yards.
Los Angeles vs Miami
Los Angeles is a 2.5-point home favorite on Monday Night Football and the over/under is set at a sky-high 50.5-points. Both teams’ scoring offenses rank near the bottom of the league, but sparks should fly now that McDaniel and McVay have their full suite of offensive weapons.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba just put up 180 receiving yards and 2 TDs versus the Rams defense, suggesting both Hill and Waddle will have no trouble getting open in Week 10. Devon Achane could also explode against a Los Angeles D allowing 135.1 rushing yards per game (No. 24 in NFL).

Best Bet
While the Dolphins defense fares well against the pass (4th in NFL) and the run (13th), that’s largely because teams didn’t need to put too many points on the board with Tua on the shelf.
With all of his weapons healthy, Matthew Stafford should have no trouble matching points with Miami. Take the Rams to win (-140) and cover (-2.5) on Monday Night Football.
