Lamar vs Baker
Winners of four straight, Baltimore’s 0-2 start is far in the rear view mirror. Lamar Jackson passed for 300+ yards in back-to-back games for only the second time in his career in the Ravens’ 30-23 victory over Washington. Lamar’s 22-1 career record against NFC opponents spells trouble for the Buccaneers on Monday night.
Baker Mayfield passed for 325 yards and four touchdowns in Tampa Bay’s 51-27 win over the Saints in Week 6. While he also threw three interceptions, you can’t quibble with success. Mayfield’s 15 TD passes leads the NFL.

Big time running games
Derrick Henry is on pace for 1,995 rushing yards this season and has a league-best eight rushing scores. Thanks to King Henry, the Ravens are only the second team in the Super Bowl era to rush for at least 150 yards and a TD in each of their first six games this year.
Tampa Bay is also coming off an explosive day on the ground. Sophomore back Sean Tucker went for 192 scrimmage yards and two TDs against New Orleans, and rookie Bucky Irving added 105 all purpose yards and a score.
Tampa Bay vs Baltimore
Baltimore is a 3.5-point road favorite on Monday Night Football and the over/under is set at 49.5-points. Both the Buccaneers and Ravens have top-four scoring offenses, averaging 29.7 and 29.5 points per game, respectively. As you might expect, John Harbaugh’s club is the No. 1 rushing team in the NFL with 205.3 yards per contest. Todd Bowles’ squad is no slouch on the ground either, averaging 136.6 yards through six weeks (No. 8).
Uncharacteristically, the Ravens have a bottom-ten scoring defense, permitting 24.8 points per game. While they’ve limited opponents to a league-best 59 rushing yards per week, Baltimore has allowed the second-most passing yards per game (275.7).

Best Bet
With a 5-2 record on Monday Night Football and a 22-1 mark against the NFC, we feel confident Baltimore is winning in Week 7. However, the Ravens’ leaky pass defense certainly opens up the back door for Baker and the Buccaneers to cover the +3.5 points. We also like the OVER 49.5 with two of the NFL’s top offenses squaring off.
