The showdown between two of the oldest rivals in ice hockey will be the final match of the 4 Nations Face-Off to be played at the Bell Centre.
After this match, the competition will switch to TD Garden in Massachusetts for the final two group matches and Thursday’s final.

Mike Sullivan’s team might well have needed to go one goal down before they got going against Finland. But when they did get going, Team USA put on one hell of a show.
Zach Werenski got three assists, but it was the Tkachuk brothers who stole the show. Brady scored two, and not to be outdone by his sibling, Matthew also chipped in with two, as the United States crushed Finland 6-1.

The statistics back up the comprehensive nature of the win. Team USA had 32 shots to Finland’s 21.
The win sees the Americans become the new betting favorites to win the competition. Team USA started as the +160 second favorite. They are now +100 after mauling the Finns.
After their showdown with Canada, Sullivan’s team will take on Sweden in the final match of the competition group stage in Boston on Monday.

Jon Cooper’s Canada were pushed all the way in their opening match against Sweden on Wednesday.
The Canadians led 2-0 at the end of the first period thanks to goals from Nathan MacKinnon and Brad Marchand. Jonas Brodin pulled one back for the Swedes, but Mark Stone restored the two-goal lead just before the end of the second period.
Then Sweden showed that they aren’t just here to make up the numbers. Goals from Adrian Kempe and Joel Eriksson tied the game at 3-3 and sent it into overtime.
Mitch Marner rescued the game for Team Canada with a goal at 6:06. Sidney Crosby was the star of the show with three assists.

Canada did suffer a blow with the news that defenceman Shea Theodore is out of the rest of the tournament.
Team Canada was the favorite to win the tournament at +140. But since the USA’s demolition of Finland, Canada is now the second favorite at +150.
The Canadians will play their final group-stage match against Finland in Boston on Monday. The sportsbooks have already priced the Canadians up at -370 to beat Antti Pennanen’s team.

We expect this to be a cracking matchup between the two favorites to win the competition.
With the match taking place in Canada, we originally expected Jon Cooper’s team to come out on top.
