Toronto Maple Leafs

The Vegas Golden Knights have made a solid start to the 2024/25 season. But the bookmakers clearly don’t see Vegas lasting the distance.
The Golden Knights are the +180 favorites to win the Pacific Division, the Oilers are second at +200. In the betting to win the Eastern Conference, Vegas is the fifth favorite at +750, with the Oilers favored at +400.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Vegas Golden Knights Betting Picks and Predictions
Vegas are 3-3-2 on the road. Their three away wins have come in their four most recent road trips.
A 4-2 win at the Oilers started the run. Vegas was then on the wrong end of an overtime seven-goal thriller against the Kraken. They have since won 3-2 away to the Ducks and 4-2 away to Utah.
A trip to the Scotiabank will be a very different challenge from the two most recent road trip wins achieved by the Golden Knights.
Furthermore, Toronto has been in good form, winning five of their last six. They are also 8-3-0 at home.
It’s hard to foresee a result like Toronto’s 3-0 loss to the Senators. We have to put that down as an anomaly and hope it doesn’t happen again when they face the Golden Knights.
Seven of Toronto’s eight home wins have been by two goals or greater. The only one that wasn’t was the 4-3 win over the Oilers, and Edmonton is the favorite to win the Stanley Cup.
We are going for Toronto to win. Take the small extra risk and back them to cover at the far better odds of +180.
