The win was the ideal way to bounce back from the loss to the Stars. But the statistics say the match could have gone either way, with the Golden Knights indebted to their goaltender Adin Hill, who made 32 saves.
The victory keeps the Golden Knights in the hunt to win the Pacific Division. Vegas is battling it out with the Edmonton Oilers and the LA Kings. Edmonton leads the betting at -141. The Golden Knights are +175, and the LA Kings are still in the hunt at +600.
Vegas is +650 to win the Western Conference and +1300 to win the Stanley Cup. Next up for the Golden Knights after the Stars is a home appointment with the Blue Jackets on Thursday.
Dallas Stars
The Dallas Stars are 6-4-0 over their last ten matches. Dallas has averaged 2.6 goals per game and given up two goals per game.
Their most recent outing was a 2-0 win over the St. Louis Blues on Saturday night at the Enterprise Center in Missouri.
Evgenii Dadonov scored a goal and assisted for Dallas. While goaltender Casey DeSmith also played a large part in the win with 33 saves, causing the Blues to blank for the first time this season.

The Stars are the +425 second favorites to win the Western Conference and the joint-third favorites to win the Stanley Cup at +1000.
Following their trip to Vegas, Dallas will host the Canucks on Friday night.
Golden Knights vs. Stars Betting Picks and Predictions
The Golden Knights are 19-6-1 at home. The Stars are 13-10-0 on the road.
Vegas has been in awful form lately, but Bruce Cassidy’s team can take heart from their 4-1 win over the Panthers.
The problem is that the result probably doesn’t tell the whole story. Florida was on top early on, and if the Panthers had scored the opening goal, things might have turned out very differently.
We’re not convinced the Stars will be as generous as the Panthers were. And if Dallas gets on top early, we can see them cashing in.
The Stars have also been solid defensibly in recent weeks, conceding just 20 goals in their previous ten matches. And that could be pivotal in this matchup.
The Dallas defense is too strong at the moment. So, our betting pick is a win for the Dallas Stars on the money line.
