The 38th season of the top English domestic rugby union began on September 20, 2024 with the Northampton Saints looking to defend their 2023-24 championship run. Bath Rugby
Bath Rugby came close to winning the Gallagher Premiership in 2023-24, finishing the year with 11 wins and seven defeats. They made it to the playoffs, beating the Sale Sharks 31-23 in the first round before losing to the Northampton Saints in the championship game by a score of 25-21.
