Gallagher Premiership Rugby resumed for round 13 last week following an almost two-month break. Sitting eight points out of first place heading in, Saracens demolished the Harlequins 52-7 in front of a crowd of 60,000 at Tottenham.

Saracens favored to repeat
Saracens (+150) is favored to repeat despite sitting in third in the standings behind Northampton and Bath. If Saturday’s 52-7 domination of the Harlequins was any indication, the reigning champions look to be in peak form as they head down the final stretch of the season.
Playing in his 250th game, captain Owen Farrell had one of his strongest matches of the year. The Sarries will have a chance to send another message on Friday night at Franklin’s Gardens against first-place Northampton.

Top contenders
Bath (+400) is looking for its first Premiership Rugby title since 1996. Johann van Graan’s side is coming off a 42-24 win over the Sale Sharks. Bath is now five points clear of the fifth-place Harlequins. However, they have their sights on more than just a playoff spot. Bath will host a home semi-final if they can stay top-two in the standings.
Northampton (+450) suffered a 52-21 thumping at the hands of Bristol on Friday night. The Saints sit atop the Premiership standings, but have not clinched a home playoff date. They have 44 points, just two ahead of Bath and three up Saracens
Playoff race heats up
Only the top four clubs secure a spot in the Premiership semi-finals. With five matches left to play, nothing is set in stone. Exeter (+1200) climbed up to fourth in the table with a 25-16 victory over the last-place Newcastle Falcons, who are still seeking their first W of the year.
The Chiefs are three points up on the Harlequins (+900) and five up on both Leicester (+750) and Bristol (+2800). Pat Lam’s Bears are coming off a 52-21 blowout win of first-place Saints. After reeling off three-straight wins over Sale, Bath and Northampton, a top-four finish is not out of the question.

Best Bet
