Alcaraz or Djokovic?
Carlos Alcaraz (+150) blew out Novak Djokovic (+220) in the Wimbledon final, but lost to the Serbian in the Olympic final just a few weeks later. While the 21-year-old Spaniard is on the same side of the bracket Jannik Sinner (+225) and Daniil Medvedev (+800), the Joker has the other side all to himself.
If Djokovic can repeat at Flushing Meadows and claim his fifth-career US Open title, he would break a tie with Margaret Court with his 25th major championship, the most of any singles player ever. The 37-year-old would also become the oldest man in the Open era to win a Grand Slam.

Jannik Sinner facing scrutiny
Jannik Sinner (+225) is in peak form after downing Andrey Rublev, Alexander Zverev and Frances Tiafoe over three straight days to win the Cincinnati Open. The 23-year-old Italian is 48-5 in 2024 with four hard court tournament triumphs this season, including his first-career major, the Australian Open.
The world No. 1 could be distracted (and heckled) in New York City after it was revealed he twice tested positive for a banned substance in March. Sinner said the timing of the ruling was “not ideal” in terms of preparing for the season’s final major.
Medvedev aims for 2nd US Open title
Daniil Medvedev (+800) has made three US Open finals in the past five years. Still eyeing his second-career major title, the 28-year-old Russian is capable of taking any of the favorites down. He beat Alcaraz in last year’s US Open and upset Djokovic in the 2021 final. A quarterfinal match looms with Sinner, who he defeated at Wimbledon last month.
Jannik Sinner refuses (again) that he got treated differently from other players.

Best Longshots
Taylor Fritz (+4000) has made the quarterfinals in three of the past four Slams. Could he become the first American man to capture a Grand Slam in 21 years? The 26-year-old is in the same quarter as Alexander Zverev (+1400), who he took down in the Round of 16 at Wimbledon.
Sebastian Korda (+5500) is 16-5 since June with a win in Washington and a semi-final appearance in Montreal a few weeks back.
Best Bet
Djokovic has a perfect set up win his 25th Grand Slam, but does he have enough left in the tank after his emotional win in Paris? Instead, we’ll take world No. 1 Jannik Sinner (+225) to claim his second-career major.
