The WNBA Betting Sites keep delivering in 2024 and wind down August as Indiana and Atlanta battle in Eastern Conference play. Indiana has won four of their past five games while Atlanta has won three of four after a long losing streak. The question is now who will find a way to extend their good run. Fever vs Dream Bets expect quite the contest as Atlanta’s long homestand continues .

Naturally, the prime online betting sportsbooks get bettors ready for this final week of August. Again, patience is essential on these three-game slates. Sometimes, the slates are smaller. On the bright side, this is only the first part of an NBA TV doubleheader on Monday night. The nightcap features New York and Phoenix. Can Atlanta pull off a mild upset?

Fever vs Dream Bets – Can Atlanta Bounce Back?

Alright, the Fever vs Dream Bets ask can Atlanta bounce back?. The Atlanta Dream had won three straight games and was entertaining the Phoenix Mercury for a second time. However, the Mercury found a way to defeat the Dream on Friday night. Atlanta came close but lost by two points in a contest the Dream felt like it should have won. Sometimes, a team gets off to a slow start and the Dream did go down seven after one quarter. .

Unfortunately, the final third does not get any easier for the Dream. They play an Indiana Fever team that is on an even bigger run. Can Atlanta get a lead? Yes, against Phoenix, the Dream never even tied the game once they went down early in the first quarter. It is something that Atlanta needs to do. Simply, they must get off to a better start on Monday night. Also, the Dream must start to win more games within their own conference.

The Dream know that 4-10 record against the Eastern Conference has been a real hinderance as they attempt to move up in the playoff race. Currently, Atlanta sits a half game off from the eighth spot (currently occupied by the Chicago Sky). The Dream have the ability to get back in the win column. However, poor early home starts have been something that has plagued Atlanta too often during this 2024 season.

Atlanta on the Moneyline from Bovada (+125) is still our best bet. With the spread laying in at -110, that is not quite good enough. A few more props are open but most of those focus on Caitlin Clark. In the meantime, we could flip the number and take Atlanta and minus -1.5 points. However, trying the moneyline is a bit safer.

Fever vs Dream Bets – The Over Or The Under?

So, Fever vs Dream bets go back and forth with the over or the under.. Indiana and Atlanta are currently set at 166.5 points with little if any movement expected. Oddly enough, the Atlanta Dream have not exceeded 165 points in any of their last five games. By contrast, Indiana has gone steaming past that game total three times in a row. Both teams even played Phoenix twice. Talk about a total contrast between these two teams.

Now, Atlanta ranks dead last in points per game and tenth in pace. The Dream yield the fifth-lowest amount of points per contest too. By contrast, Indiana plays at a much crisper pace. They average 82.6 points per game but yield 87. Again, the past five games have been a little different as the Fever have outscored their defensive shortcomings. Atlanta’s defensive pace has held firm in the two meetings between the teams this season.

Maybe playing Indiana now will be good for Atlanta. The Dream need wins and so the Fever. It is that urgency which keeps rising for these bubble teams looking to move up. Why is that important? Avoiding playing New York or Connecticut is important. Yes, getting into the playoffs is a good thing. However, right now, it is all about the wins.

Again, there was this look for alternate numbers on Monday night. However, the furthest anyone would dare to go with these two teams is probably that 164.5 maybe 165.5. Even rolling with the recommended 166.5 is not such an easy proposition. However, that number has stayed right around -110 during the past 24-36 hours. With that and Atlanta’s game play for Caitlin Clark and company, we inch toward that Under as our pick to open Monday night.

What About Some Of Those Props?

Finally, Fever vs Dream Bets ask about some of those props. 2024 expects to continue delivering some successful bets even despite some occasional bumps in the road. That is what betting is all about. There will be cold and hot streaks. Props are no exception. They can be even hotter or even colder.

Again, keep an eye on the closer game prop (winning 3-way margin). That rolls in at +145 right now and either team can win by five or fewer points on Monday. Considering that 2.5-point spread and this could be reasonable. This has occurred twice recently with Atlanta. Either way, it is an option to consider here.

Do not forget that Indiana’s point prop is now at 84.5. One can get that number as good as -115 on Bovada. That expects not to last closer to Monday night’s tip-off.
