Aces vs Sky Bets – Aces Climbing Out Of Funk

Okay, the Aces vs Sky Bets see the Aces climbing out of funk.. The Las Vegas Aces had lost four of five games before winning consecutive contests. That is great news for bettors as their offense continues to inch upward. Yes, the Aces average 87.7 points per game currently and enjoyed a big wins over Seattle and Connecticut. Both wins were by double digits lending to some optimism that a run is just beginning.

Fortunately, last week saw our outlook turn more rosy as Las Vegas scored 94 points and Seattle rode a late flurry up to 83. That was enough to sweep all the Overs in one felt swoop. It is nice when that happens but do not expect pleasant surprises all the time. Now, Las Vegas faces a Chicago team that is feisty at home. Do they have enough depth besides Angel Reese to contend with the might of the Aces’ attack? That is a great question.

The Aces got a considerable wake-up call at 6-6. Consider the 34-6 mark set last year and Las Vegas is angry. This is a team that does not like losing regular season games. Dropping four of five decisions had to cause some extremely red faces throughout the Aces’ locker room. A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum create havoc but Jackie Young can heat up from the perimeter and penetrate like few guards in the league.

Las Vegas with the spread from Bovada (-110) remains out top wager. With the moneyline hanging around -400, that is ominous at best. Expect the props to open later on Wednesday or early on Thursday. In the meanwhile, we could bet Las Vegas at 8.5 points to gain the extra half point. That is EVEN via Bovada.

Aces vs Sky Bets – Angel Reese Props

So, Aces vs Sky bets get to the Angel Reese props section.. Hey, it is great to see sportsbooks get more and more on board with what the former LSU standout is doing for the Chicago Sky. She is truly a walking double-double machine. It is so automatic that some books are waiting till game day to release that number. There lies quite a bit of action and the weekend was no exception. Reese racked up 25 points and 16 rebounds over Indiana. The Sky held on to defeat the Fever by one ending Indiana’s winning streak.

Now, the last five games have been even more fun as Reese continues to pile on the offensive rebounds. She has had three or more every time in that span including a season high eight versus Dallas late last week. When Reese plays more urgent and physical, she can get to the foul line early and often. Look at Sunday against Indiana. Reese got to the charity stripe 11 times and made nine free throws. Again, that boosts those point props.

Maybe playing Las Vegas will not be so easy but Reese has potential to get just enough points and rebounds again. The Over 12.5 rebounds is EVEN and given she has 13+ rebounds in four consecutive contests, that is not an unreasonable numbers. Las Vegas allows more than 84 points per game still and Chicago can be a tough place to play even with the Sky’s 3-5 home mark. This team can stay in games.

Rule changes have aided rookies like Reese this season. Her hard-nosed style rubs some players the wrong way but is great for prop betting. No one expects an ejection here on Thursday night. A few people asked about some parlays. If there is one maybe to consider, go for the simple Reese double double with Chicago getting 9.5 or Chicago scoring more than 78.5 points. Check out more before Thursday.

What About Quarters And Halves?

Finally, Aces vs Sky Bets ask about quarters and halves. Having numbers this far out benefits everyone. This is because that allows time for changes and shifts. Most bettors do not like that but the bright side is a few picks can open up from these avenues.

Again, as much as we like Team Over/Unders are for both squads. is taking advantage of teams who love to push pace early even more enticing? Chicago knows they need to play at a faster tempo against Las Vegas. The Aces, when they are rolling, are the queens of pace. Las Vegas can score 85-95 points in the blink of an eye. Ask Seattle who gave up 90+ with ease in Seattle!

Finally, the idea here is to go for the strong Las Vegas start in the first quarter. The Aces to lead by three or more points (-110) or even the Over of 42.5 points for both teams is in play on Thursday.
